DocHost Security Measures

Your documents are stored and backed up in a world-class datacenter with fully redundant connectivity, state of the art monitoring, HVAC, fire suppression and security that meet with the most stringent requirements. It has redundant power provided by three separate electrical grids and additionally utilizes on-site generators in the event of a complete power grid failure, to further insure full operation without interruption.

WEBQUOTA: Limits access to computer resources based on user accounts, and provides dictionary attack protection that recognizes and prevents unauthorized logins.

DATA TRANSFER ENCRYPTION: The industry-standard security "handshake" provided by SSL encrypts all data moving between the DocHost server and the user's computer.

PASSWORD STRENGTH: Enables firms to define password requirements that meet security guidelines established by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology.

iDOC Corp’s server environment has completed the SOC 1 statement of standards. SOC 1 is most appropriate for organizations that provide financial services and want to comply with regulatory requirements like Sarbanes-Oxley or HIPAA. Recently our datacenter underwent extensive improvements to meet both the SOC 2 and SOC 3 requirements in order to assure our customers that we are committed to excellence in quality, compliance and security.

All documents are stored in a secure data center, which covers all three critical security areas: physical security, operational security and system security. Physical security includes locking down and logging all physical access to servers. Operational security involves creating business processes to limit access to confidential information. System security involves locking down customer systems from the inside, starting with hardened operating systems and up-to-date patching
